You Suck

If you think this poem is about you,

You could not be further from Right,

It is entirely about me,

and my will to Fight,

It is about the classic Moments,

The ones that I made,

But as time slips away,

Memories also fade,

It is about perseverance,

and the strength from within,

It is about keeping your word,

Not willing to commit sin,

It is about making a promise,

About making a Pact,

It is about walking away,

Never Looking back,

It is about finding yourself,

In a world of Mirrors,

It is about standing Up,

and forgetting your fears,

It is about meeting people,

By chance or by luck,

It is about accepting the fact,

That you really suck

Casualties of Life

We all have a catastrophe  of sorts, For some it is the Inevitable Bad hair bad, Others waking up WAY after the alarm, and others,  Well Everyday just making it work.

We all have our demons, it is how we handle our selves in the moment that count.  Standing in line you are running late for work and the 3 people in front of you are the enemy in line… Right?  Gah I HATE that,  But I also know No ones life revolves around me ether.  Except for my sons, Or is that the other way around?  Anyway,  you getting up late may be a small piece crap compared to the lady 2 people ahead of you counting her change to get gas because her mom is in the hospital, Or the guy right in front of you who has been out of work for a year and praying he makes it to the interview of a minimums wage job on time.  As you toss your money at the attendant, who has 3 kids, used to be a white collar worker but choose to work at minimum wage than let his family suffer, You are your own enemy.   Pushing open the door you pass a girl, who is obviously having a good hair day,  To bad you did not realize she is heading to a funeral for her best friend, who committed suicide over a failed marriage and to trump that, she was pregnant also.  Yes, you are your own black cloud.

Shoving the pump into your tank,  Your foot tapping, a older man passes you, smiles and continues to walk, you manage a half ass smile watching the gallons fill the tank slowly,  Why is he so happy?  He is in his own way celebrating his anniversary, with his wife today where she is, the cemetery.

We really should all have tag Lines

“Lost My Mom today”

“Just had my heart broke by someone whom I trusted”

“Lost my dog”

“Struggling to support my family/children”

“Just needs someone to listen”

“Could really Use a Hug”

“Wishes I could tell someone how I really Feel”

“Believes in angels but is missing mine”

Why are we so Engulfed in our own bullshit and are completely unaware there is a world of people out there that need even just a small moment, a smile, just help.

I remember being at a gas station, a woman was getting gas a few years back,  She was upset, I am not sure why, I have no clue really.  I had never seen her, Nor have I since, But the moment I passed by her, handed her a Gas station rose and a snicker bar the look on her face was Priceless.  Thinking about it now makes me smile, because I know that One small gesture meant the world to her.  Ok she was heaving as she pumped her gas it was apparent, But a lot of us don’t show what we are Really feeling, we harbor and hide it, I know most men will do hand stands before showing any emotion, especially if it cues in the word Weak…

Next time you get up, your late, Tank is on E and your just having a “Bad” day, STOP.. Look in the mirror for 30 Seconds and tell your self how lucky you are to have a reason to be up at that Hour, that you have a car to drive to work, and the fact that your life in comparison even on a curve is not that hella Bad.

Christion Dinzeo-The singing Prince

christion Dinzeo_001

It was late one night a few years ago.  My friend owned a club that he was getting live acts for.  I had nothing to do but stand there and well listen.  He was pretty picky about the acts, But threw on another act to see how he was.  Did I mention it was late?

Living in Secondlife every possible hour I was not falling asleep at the PC, and even some I was, I stuck around.  Everyone else left except for the owner and manager of the club. So He sang… He sang Josh Groban, Oasis, Rob Thomas, Garth Brooks, Frank Sinatra and a few Disney songs… I was hooked.  My friend who owned the club had to leave..

Go.. I said, I'm staying here… I was NOT going to leave, as long as he wanted to sing I was going to stay and I did.  Over the years he has  come and gone, I have come and gone, We both somewhat kept in touch.

I randomly logged into SL to send something to a friend,  what was going to be a 5 Min thing turned to 30 as I arrived a TP arrived, Labeled

“I'm Singing”

I am not going into detail about much except that he is Really Good!  He has a sweetness about him that emulates through his music, He wears his heart on his sleeve.  Probably a bit more cautious now being no longer a noob in Secondlife and seen it all, His talents are far from ordinary.  I Long ago nick named him the Singing Prince, I am sure I am not alone.

I of course sat there, My headset on, listening contently with the 25 other people there,  He has a fan base, I am just one of the many that have found him and not let him go.  I told him I was using him for his body, Er I meant his voice,  He laughed.  I was not joking… Ha ha Ok, maybe I was, He is a friend, and I am a fan of anyone who does something well, regardless.

So Christion, Please never stop, you are one of few in Secondlife I love to hear, be it country, adult contemporary or top 20, you have a gift that I envy you for.  Your talent exceeds many I have heard.  All the best wishes and success,

Me

Peace Out

The Map

Sometimes the answers are not always clear,

The Questions are lingering along with the fear,

Cannot go back, so we step slowly ahead,

Making guesses in the dark as we lay in bed,

confusion is not easy to overcome,

although sometimes normal for some,

Cannot grasp the reality, cannot lay down the line,

There is something missing, It is calling me to find,

Cannot possibly find it, In my empty heart,

In others I search, hoping for a new start,

But the shallow still waters do not assist,

Still waiting for that spark, the energy I miss,

Finding it hollow in this empty dream of mine,

waiting on the stars above to show me a sign,

they never seem to change, just make a soft glow,

The water before me shimmers, I still do not know,

What lays ahead, Nor can I see which way to turn,

It is a unmapped territory, One I have yet to Learn,

God grant me the honor, Give me the strength,

To walk it alone, No matter the Length

Give me a passion, that will guide my way,

One to take me further, than the previous day,

Live artists and Secondlife

There is so many talented people in secondlife, I mean really it took me well over a year to find a live artist, but then I was hooked.  Now for me its like going to the corner pub and kicking back with a beer.  So Tuesday I logged in, just for a few Minutes, I had no plans, Just pick up the meeroos that had been born and take off till I saw a name pop up which I had not seen in a LONG time, Christion Dinzeo.  This guy is wonderful, He used to do a few live shows but also hits the karaoke circuit.  I met him 2 years ago at Disengaged, a Live venue for upcoming acts that Dallas Silverspar owned (He is also a great singer). Christion showed up for  a Impromptu gig and I was the only one left, besides the few owners. after an hour the owners had to leave, and he still sang for 1 more.  Needless to say, I was Hooked.

Christion is a kind hearted soul who pours emotions into every note that escape his lips.  So here it is well over 2 years later, He has come and gone from SL many times and I usually miss out on seeing him, But not tonight.

Me “are you singing tonight?”

Him “Is there anywhere to sing?”

I search open mic and end up at an escort place…. Next to Christion

Me “Hi, Tell anyone I came to an escort place and Ill have to beat you”

Him “LOL, Ill sing a few then we can look for another place”

He sang my Rob Thomas “Ever the same”…

Snapshot_004

I was floored as usual.  He sings country, pop, adult contemporary and Oh, Lots of Disney theme songs.  He has a wide vocal range.

We stayed till the end,  there was actually a lot of good singers there, then we headed to the “O” where he jumped on the board to sing.  after a few songs I receive a Random IM, Well I received a few, But this one actually had balls.

Mandoaa Dragonash

Last night I only logged to see a person live,  I have been following them since, Well I call Social Sands days.  Social ands was a place that had comedians, Live music and Karaoke.   I remember snuggled Up with Trolo at the corner couch listening and then over the Mic came a voice singing 3AM by matchbox 20.   I was floored … He made 3AM his song,  He made my heart drop,  He made me use the “Pass the F out gesture”  I am not  a gesture person.  That was in 2009.

So last night I logged just to hear him It has been a long time.  I have always loved his sense of humor, along with his renditions of songs, he makes up as he goes, playing his guitar and those he wrote himself, Notably the few about secondlife.  I of course asked for my MB20 song, But it was late in the show,  He sang a bit of Ceelo and 3rd nipple, even put a spin on Mmm Bop,  but at the end, I was left without MB20.  He promised me next week he would make up for it.  I have of course found a few other live acts I enjoy, the majority that start with the Letter M, Mankind, Maxamillion and then Ed but it was Mandoaa that I know was the one to set me on the path for live music in secondlife. He left social sands a few months after,  I was In his group and got all the updates on his thereabouts, and really I just have to look him up on youtube if I really want to hear him again.  After that show I saw Harper was playing, Harper is also Very Talended so I went to his show.  In my quest to waste a lil more time, I profile perved for a bit until I came across a.profile with a post I had in my facebook a LONG time ago.

Hello. Here are my answers to yesterday's messages, in order of their arrival. Yes. Tommorow at 5pm. Duct tape and piano wire. Tonight's safety word will be banana. No. Thank you

I was cracking Up, It was a bit surreal since the second I saw the safe word I was close to Peeing My pants. So I sent them an IM, Something I Normally don’t do

It ended up being an hour long conversation on Doritos, Profiles, Rum and cokes  and sliced limes.  It was actually pretty funny, I would copy paste, but you people would think Im freakin crazy….. Eh Its called a time filler.  Keeps my mind sharp and my verbs in check.  So  Any way,  Go see mando, He freakin rocks, I believe my BFF may go with me next Wednesday, and Mando promised me to sing my MB20 song.

M kay well Off I go, Here is  Pic I took at Mando, Mucho hugs and keep it real, well as virtually real as Possible.

and Here is MY 3AM by Mando, the guy from St Louis who melts me with his voice.
